Get help
FoundryOS is a young, independent project. There is no commercial support desk — there are docs, a community forming around it, and a system designed to fix itself first.
Start with the built-in recovery
Most "help, it broke" moments on other distros are designed-for events here. Check these before reaching for a human:
A bad update broke something
Reboot and pick the previous snapshot from the boot menu, or open the Snapshots app and restore. The Health app names the likely culprit.
The machine won't boot cleanly
After consecutive unhealthy boots, self-heal routes you to the last known-good snapshot automatically. Health explains what happened afterward.
Something is off but boots fine
Run the Health app, or `foundryos-diagnose` in a terminal — it diffs the system against last-known-good and proposes a reversible fix.

Vulnerabilities get a private channel so they can be fixed before they're public. Please don't file them as ordinary bugs.
